The name — baras, years — holds our whole idea: we make pieces meant to be used, kept, and appreciated for years, not seasons.
We work directly with weavers, embroiderers, and craftspeople across India to bring together a considered collection of sarees, fusion wear, bags, and jewellery. Each piece is chosen for its material, its construction, and the quiet character it carries — the kind of object that earns its place over time. We photograph and describe every item honestly, price it fairly, and ship it carefully, so that what arrives at your door is exactly what you saw.
